The present study bad social surroundings and bad company have been found as major factors responsible for producing and perpetuating anti-social behaviour amongst the children. Here the police may prove of much help in preventing and controlling the problem directly as well as indirectly. This is very easily possible for then as they have vast resources, sufficient knowledge on the subject of crime and delinquency, reliable information about delinquents as individual greater exposure and association with the public etc
