I sought the miracle pill, the rags-to-riches and that elusive and mysterious inner power the motivational gurus like to sell. I knew everything, then realized I knew nothing. I was invincible until I found out I was really just fragile. I spent my life chasing the shadows of a future I did little to achieve. It took me over 40 years to realize that the future is only a reflection of today and that the past is irrelevant, for we cannot live in anything but the now.
