Cisco Linksys WRT120N Wireless-N Home Router

this product works excellent in wired mode but the range is not that good as expected. maximum speed is 4.5MB/s against 10.5MB/s on fast Ethernet mode.
I used this product for wireless but now I am using this on wired mode as transfer speed within network is sluggish in wifi mode.

I'm using it for a couple of months now. the product is excellent.
I was a little apprehensive tht it might not give enough range as claimed. Initially I was mentally prepared to install 2 routers to cover the whole place(it spreads over 2500 sq ft on on a single floor)
but the Cisco router did work as it claimed and one router was enough.
at my place everyone except my maid has a laptop and a wifi enabled phone and now TV too. A total of around 10 gadgets and once just for sake of testing its efficiency we tried using all of them at once for internet and it worked. the speed suffered of course. but the net speed is to be blamed for tht i guess.

My brother uses it for playing games with his friends sometimes. They do wireless LAN gaming with abt 6-7 laptops using this router as hub and unlike normal laptop based wifi LAN, their games dont give any lags.
and aesthetically as well, it looks cool too.

to sum it, its an excellent product and more than worth the price.

This router is a heap of problems , Bad WIFI Range, Unstable connection, A brand new router drops internet connection like a piece of cake, i tried multiple units of WRT120N which i kept replacing due to connection drop, Nope its not a single piece problem, its the worst router cisco has ever made.

I would not suggest this to anyone , not even my enemy , as soon as it gets warmed up its starts to loose connection and only comes back up when you switch it off and on back again, a wifi router is as good as its connection stability. Donot waste your money on this crap as i am tired of troubleshooting from within cisco forum changing MTU, and all the other parameters but No it consistently drops connection still , search for its name and you will know its a badddddd router. Do not buy if you want connection stability.

This product is excellent for home use. Few points I really liked about it:
* Sleek design
* Easy setup: my home was wifi in less than 15 min; almost like plug-and-play
* Good coverage: I can work with practically no disturbance, even across three walls

Value for money at this price; I have already recommended this product to my friends, who have purchased it and are happy with its performance.

An amazing piece if you want to have wifi at your home or office place.
range is decent...in my 3 bhk duplex house ..the wifi range is high all over if router kept in the middle room.

the easy guide provided with router was giving problem of disconnection so i set up the router manually with my dsl 502t modem and it's working like charm.

i have been using this product for about 3 months now and no complaints till date.

the build quality is good and CISCO has its name in networking.

overall an amazing, durable and budget product to create easy home/office network.
