Body & Design

Functions & Other Features

This analog Eco-Drive from Citizen also includes the all-important crucial date display which is located at the clock face’s 3 O’clock position and can easily be set or changed using the watch’s rotating crown. This Citizen timepiece comes with a 1/5 chronograph function that includes an extremely accurate stopwatch with multiple split or lap time feature. This stopwatch with lap or split timers comes in immensely handy for those involved in track and field or motor racing events where multiple split or lap times have to be accurately recorded. This highly capable, multi-function timepiece further includes an alarm clock function that functions using the beep alarm tone.

The water resistant feature on this watch gives it a maximum operational limit of 10 bar or a maximum depth of 102 m.  This extremely crucial feature makes sure that there is no water seepage or that any build-up of subsurface pressure does not affect the watch’s normal functionality.

Deriving its power from any kind of light source, natural or artificial, this Eco-Drive watch has the inclusion of some very important power management features that include the Power Save Mode and the Insufficient Charge Warning Function.

The powersaver mode on this Eco-Drive comes into effect when the watch has not been exposed to light for a considerable period, in which case the watch automatically seizes the hand movement and disables the calendar function but keeps an accurate count of both date and time internally. When the watch is exposed to light once again, the hands move rapidly and reposition to show you the exact current time and resumes the normal 1 second ticking of the seconds hand.

When the power level on the watch drops below a certain level, the Insufficient Charge Warning function takes over where the second hand’s movement is changed from the regular 1 second to a 2 second interval. When exposed to light, the watch resumes its normal hand movement with a 1 second interval.

The Super Titanium Collection is a combination of the lightweight titanium material and Citizen's ion-plating technology which further hardens the watch’s metallic surface.
