About the Author Victor D. Infante grew up listening to The Clash, Elvis Costello and Talking Heads; had his love of poetry ignited by Carolyn Forch, Lawrence Ferlinghetti and Marcia Cohee; and had his poetic mind blown open by Ted Walker, Ted Hughes and Patricia Smith. Despite being born in Pennsylvania, Infante grew up in California and went to college in England. Currently, he and his wife - the poet Lea C. Deschenes - live in Massachusetts, where he wrangles ferrets and newspaper copy (only one for profit.) His poetry, fiction and journalism have appeared in dozens of periodicals internationally, and he is the editor in chief of the "November 3rd Club," an online literary journal of political writing. There are other details, certainly, but their circumstances are murky, and really, best left alone.
