Life is made up of a series of journeys, some small, some large. How we handle these journeys and which roads we ultimately travel, define our characteristics and the way others view us as human beings. Most of us choose the road less travelled and when we are faced with the occassional fork in the road we have a choice of which path to follow. The paths rarely pose decisions that could effect the rest of our lives. But what happens if one day you reach a crossroad and the path chooses you? This is the true story of one man's life that was changed drastiacally in January 1984, in a Texas Parking lot, due to a bullet from an unknown assailant. How he coped with this tragedy and the decisions he made to overcome the adversities that faced him, reflected what the human spirit is capable of. This man led a remakable life and was an inspiration to all who knew him. Many called him a hero--I called him my brother.
