Hardcore passion in the writing and in the story

I found an advertisement of this book in facebook. The title and the synopsis of the book attracted me to buy it.

Very bold narration of the cold truth and bad face of the cinema industry. For example.

"An elderly makeup man, who was around sixty years of age, narrated the story of how he managed to convince an innocent junior artist into sex."

Best part is that you can find humour in the hardships in lines like:

"I ignored stares of hopelessness from my parents and relatives. I tried to...

Good book to read

I thought this would be just another love story. But it is not. It has so much life in it. A lot of people will be able to relate to the frustration of not being able to achieve their dreams, especially without having your loved ones beside them when they really need them. Clouds don't pass has given me the satiation of reading a good book.

A book that can be easily made into a movie.

Clouds- don’t- pass’ by Abhishek krishnan is one simple book with which every person can relate to. The mere title alone grabs your attention as to the normal phrase “passing clouds”. The book is all about the protagonist ABI and his experiences in college , passion for movie industry and how when each failure slaps him hard, some unseen force pulls him back to reality but his passion is so deep that he is not able to digest a normal 9-5 job. Abi takes us through all his experiences, good and...

A good companion

This book is a good companion. When you are lonely and want to shift focus on something that makes you feel good, I would recommend picking this up. I wouldn't mind revisiting some of the pages of the book. It is like I have made friends with the characters in the book and I just have to open the book to meet them. A lovely tale.

Excellent Start

Clouds Don't Pass, first time I am reading a novel written by someone I know very well. Right after receiving the book I was bragging to everyone "hey look, the author of this book, Abhiskek Krishnan, is my friend". The title and the book cover itself made me curious.

Abi, the lead character in this book is the author himself, his passion is cinema and he wants to become a successful actor and he can't think of any other career other than cinema. This book explores his college life, his stru...

Simply blew my mind

Catches your imagination and keeps you engrossed till the end. Loved the humour / sarcasm in the book. As a film aspirant, the book inspires me a lot. This is definitely a dedication to friendship and romance. The best part is that the author has used simple English, which makes sure it does not disrupt your imagination.

Another beautiful narrator from India - down south.

Bold, breezy and inspiring

The writing is fresh and addictive. The author has been bold enough to talk about the grey side of the film industry. However, the best part is that the story that revolves around it is breezy and lighthearted. Brings out many inspiring thoughts connecting passion and success.
