The Coming Conquest Of England (dodo Press)

August Wilhelm Otto Niemann (1839-1919) was a German author, officer, editor, actor and private tutor. He also wrote under the pseudonym A. Ferrari. He was an editor in the publishing house Justus Perthes from 1869 to 1889. In 1904 he wrote his novel Der Weltkrieg: Deutsche Trume that appeared in English as The Coming Conquest of England. This war utopia book was widely noticed, in its preface it shows the Britons as the head enemy: "My dreams, the dreams of a German, show me the war that is to be, and the victory of the three great allied nations. Germany, France, and Russia-and a new division of the possessions of the earth as the final aim and object of this gigantic universal war."
