Commissioned

Commissioned is a fable about doing what's right no matter who is involved. When Maxwell Simpson's adopted mother dies and he's abused by his adopted father he becomes a runaway living on the street. Soon he's taken in by a black woman and her brother. They teach him to love himself and others no matter what color they are. When he lands his first job as an investigative auditor for the Securities and Exchange Commission little does he know that he will be compelled to put all that he's learned into action. Will he believe white murderous bigots or a black CPA working for a large accounting firm? His first investigation not only demands his ingenuity as an auditor, but also puts him in a position to make a difference in the lives of people.
