The Constitution Of India 11th Edition

If u want to prepare for civils,then this book will be gud for u,as this book contents all words and terminologies related to the constitution of india for eg preamble,constitution..etc.
I guess the basic idea of the author is to make people aware of the
"ARTICLES" which are included in the constitution of India.
Overall i didnt like this book, as my intention was to know about our constitution and its working.If u r also looking for this then this book is a BIG NO.

This book is really good, as it used simple English and great structuring. This book can serve as a valuable reference for your civil service preparation, as you can quickly revise the acts and basic structure of the constitution. But do keep in mind that this book makes a very dull first reading, it is better if you have attended a few hours of lectures on Constitution or have read a general and exhaustive introduction to the Constitution.

But the Font used is really small and a strain on your eyes even if you don't use reading glasses. So its better you go for the bigger font version by the same author which is a little costlier than this edition. But if you are looking for a pocket reference to the Constitution then please go for this. But continuous reading or even underlining is rather difficult because of the Font.

The language and structure in the book is much more accessible than D.D.Basu if you are a Civil service aspirant , cause you are just looking for a working knowledge rather than a research oriented Exposé.

Hi Everyone, as a reader of this book i find this book a very informative one for the beginner. The topics covered are enough to arise one's interest to study the topics deeply. However the book lacks a very important feature. The font used in the book is too small for reading purpose. It may require to strain your eyes to read the book. The book is small and compact, that makes it a very handy material to carry wherever you go.

Overall content wise the book gets a thumbs up, on the font part, a huge letdown.

i thought it would be good for laymen to understand. But it can only be helpful to those who are in profession of law, or have prior knowledge. Content is good, but hard to get for common person. Otherwise everything was good,font size is very small.In short book ,too much material is there.I could not read everything.

Excellent coverage and can be carried anywhere easily. it serves best for developing individual perception on our Constitution. It is thee most effective reference book for any analytic read on Constitution of India.
