Cooler Master 90 CFM Green LED Cooler

First of all, thanks to Flipkart for fast delivery. I placed order on 6th and got it on 8th. Along with this fan I also ordered 2 more 80mm CM BC-80 fans.
Now come to the review--
This fan is awesome. It is creating a micro storm inside my cabinet. Joke apart, my cabinet is frontech made. When I bought the cabinet it had only one cheap 120mm (low CMF) fan and was installed at the front for air intake only, with no exhaust fan. Now my cabinet has 4 fans, the 90CFM(120mm) fan is for air intake(installed it at front), the cheap 120 mm fan and CM 80mm fan are at side, and the remaining CM 80mm fan at back. The side fans and the rear fan are for air exhaust. My system has AMD A8-3870K running at 3.3 GHz.

Now here is the temperature difference---

Before installing the CM fans:-

Temperature(degree )at idle condition:-
Motherboard> 33-35; CPU> 37-40;

Temperature(degree) at 100% load:-
Motherboard> 40-43; CPU> 62-65**

After installing the CM fans:-

Temperature(degree )at idle condition:-
Motherboard> 30-31; CPU> 32-34;

Temperature(degree) at 100% load:-
Motherboard> 32-34; CPU> 57-60;

** MY MOTHERBOARD HAS FAIL-SAFE SOFTWARE, IF THE CPU TEMPERATURE GOES ABOVE 65 DEGREES THE SYSTEM SHUTS DOWN AUTOMATICALLY. BEFORE INSTALLING THE COOLER MASTER FANS I WAS UNABLE TO RUN MY SYSTEM AT 100% LOAD, SO I DIDN'T KNOW THE EXACT TEMPERATURE OF THE CPU AT 100% LOAD.

But now running my system at 100% load even for hours, the CPU temperature never goes above 60 degrees.

Pros-
1. High airflow
2. Cool green LED
3. Supplied with necessary 4 screws and 3 pin to 4 pin Molex converter along with 30cm wire

Cons-
1. A little bit noisy
2. I was unable to use the supplied screws as they were very much tight for the holes of the fans. So I searched my toolbox and found some usable screws to install the fans in my cabinet.

And lastly sorry for bad English…..

I bought this fan basically to cool my GPU. My two 80 mm fans was not giving good cooling. So, my expectation was quite a bit high on my first 120mm fan.

But after I connected it on the side panel directly below my GT240's embedded fan, I virtually got no difference. The temperature doesn't seem to differ from earlier. GPU is 38 at idle and remained heated upto 65-66 on load, although I could feel the high air exhaust when put my hand near it.

Also as regards to the looks, this fan is not at all a head turner. When used as exhaust fan, from outside you could only see the 4 LEDs glowing at the corners. Although the other side looks a bit better, still it is not as good as the transparently designed BC series of fans where the entire fan body exudes light.
Similarly you cannot visually see the fan speed increase/decrease from outside unlike in the BC series, where it is possible due to the changing frequency of the light emission through the transparent blades with the change in speed.

If looks matter more to you, then go for the transparent BC series of fans. Else, if you want to use it as intake fan, then this fan should serve the purpose.

A very value for money fan. Used this fan as an side air intake fan for my Bitfenix merc alpha case. The rated 2000 RPM is clearly visible as the airflow can be felt. Definitely will help in reducing the temperature inside the cabinet.

The Green LED light is not that attractive. Though the rated noise level is 19 dB, a slight humming sound can be heard in a silent room and this is slightly irritating.

Pros:
1) The material is black translucent and attractive
2) 2000 RPM Fan
3) 3 pin to 4 pin Molex connector is provided

Cons:
1) Not extremely silent as there is an slight audible humming sound
2) Normal White color metal screws are provided instead of the black colored ones. Note that most of the cases are black today and if you fit the fan to the side panel of your cabinet with the provided white color metal screws, it will look ugly.

Due to the time period of 7-10 days delivery,i received the product earlier than the scheduled date... Packaging was done nice in bubble wrap to ensure that the fans wouldn't be damaged...
I had ordered because my previous fans were getting older and was making a lot of noise...So i got 2 of these bad babies .The 120mm fan comes with a packet of 4 screws and a 3 pin to 4 pin power connector incase you don't have a motherboard fan slot.Placed 1 on the front for the intake and 1 in the side for the exhaust and combined with my 2 other fans,i really can assure myself the my PC is running cool now...Got to order 1 more later!!!And also note,the Green colour is really cool and kinda makes ur PC look like a Green Lantern..

I bought this fan for my HP pavilion desktop which overheats due to a graphics card upgrade, Cooling by this fan has been great!! I use this as a air intake fan on side of chassis and the CPU temperature has gone down by 7 degrees, yes full 7 degrees now it hardly rises above 60 when on load and idle temperature also does not go above 30 degrees which previously was 42 (its directly in front of the CPU fan) also the green LED looks AWESOME... Go ahead and buy this fan guys, it really helps in cooling although its a bit noisy when it runs at max speed but you can select to use mother-board fan power control or use molex connector to run at max (cable is included in pack)
