PERFECT !!!
Just received it today, amazing packaging, fast delivery, good product. Installed it and it works amazing. Hardly any noise. If ur original AMD fan got screwed, this is a perfect replacement.
Main Point : Awesome Cooling (cooler master name suits it :P)
with AMD stock fan, my PC temp used 2 be 45-47 but now with this, its 42-44 - extremely good. Must buy. The best budget fan out there.

Silent but survived only a year
I bought this fan last year from FlipKart on 5th March and had been working great till a month back. It was quite silent and I was pretty happy with my decision.
It started giving lot of noise (since June 20, 2013) and now (July 2, 2013) it is not even cooling CPU so the computer is shutting down again and again.
Now, since it is not in warranty any longer, the seller told me that they can't do anything about it. I will have to buy another fan. I am definitely not going for this again.

Very good for old cpu
I bought this because my old athlon 4200+ was having heating issues. I must say i am impressed by the product. Here are some of the noteworthy points.
1. The cooler is somewhat smaller than the default amd HS.
2. On my system it runs at ~3500 rpm, slightly above its rated speed.
3. Comes with onboard thermal paste, so need to apply it on the processor.
4. Very quiet. hardly makes a noise
5. Simpler to install than the stock cooler.
6. I noticed a 10degree drop in temp over the older heatsink...

Neat stock-like product, does the job
First things first, I needed a cheap replacement for my AMD Phenom II's dead heatsink-fan, and this does the job - 42°C - 54°C. The contact base should've been square-shaped instead of circular for 100% contact with the processor; the temperatures are likely to elevate as dust clogs the heatsink plates.
At low CPU load and around 2800 RPM, it's pretty quiet, and even at nominal-to-high CPU load and around 3200 RPM, it's barely audible. Overall, seems to be good for the price.

Solved my Athlon64 overheating problem on a Socket 939
Trusted my instincts and got this for my ancient Athlon64 Socket 939 used in an ASUS A8n-VM mobo. It does not give a snug fit but it fits well to do the job. Finally my secondary machine is stable now for the past 10-15hours.
It is able to maintain 50*C at around 2800 RPM.
Fan is like stock cooler but heatsink is made with better Aluminium and cuts for airflow.

easy to install, just like other Amd type cpu fans, pretty silent, and yes its a cooler master so if you`re really particular about the brand, its definitely recommended. fits perfectly on my amd phenom 2 550.

Satisfied-It work as it should.
I don't know why the first reviewer complaining about the cooler master. I did not have any trouble when fitting. As compare to Intel- AMD cooler fitting is simple. I don't have more words to say. This is best and has no problem.

Does not fit in my mobo
First it doesn't fit on my motherboard at all. M2N68-AM SE2 . the metal 'bar' just wouldn't reach the 'bracket' on the motherboard. its too damn high.
Second it doesn't even cover the cpu completely. It has got a round base, which is so small that a good solid portion of the cpu is just touching air. But I didn't get to test whether this will cause a problem , because it didn't fit my motherboard in the first place!
Disappointed and a waste of money. Its cheap alright, but should atleast fit.
