COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 EVO Cooler

I have a i7 2600k, which was working on stock cooler on a build which was meant only for gaming. And it was causing the CPU to heat up to 82deg at high stress and at 40-42 on idle conditions. After installation of this cooler i am getting idle temperature around 34-35 and in stress conditions 69-70 and in games like max payne 3 and grid 2 it remains at 45deg throughout.

This is a right cooler for Indian summer. I used it against my 95 watts AMD processor (4800+). The stock processor could not take it any more with full load, often touched 100 deg cel. After installing it, the cpu temp never cross 50 deg cel with full load. But u need cabinet width to be at least 7.5" or 190 mm else u have to keep the side cover open. So be sure before buy. This is a very good product. My system had started to clock 62 degrees in this summer and hence thought lets go for a custom built heatsink, and i am certainly very happy with this product. The temperatures are below 50 degrees even when the ambient temperature in b'lore is around 35.

One thing you need to take care of is the dimensions of ur cabinet and also u need to have experience with installation of heatsinks before u try to install this one.

I bought this for my AMD 1090 processor as my stock cooler was not working properly.

I found price competitive as compared with other online options and flipkart delivery is really good.

I am not satisfied with the packaging of this product done by flipkart. I think there is scope for improvement.

Installation is a bit of a work with this cooler but after installation results are awesome.

I recommend this product whoever is looking for quiet and value for money cooler.

Has been using this product for more than 1 month now and i must say its working superb , earlier my CPU (fx6300)temp while rendering videos and playing high end games like battlefield 4 & Dota 2 , etc were approx 65-70 °C and ideal were 35-40 , I live in Chandigarh so ambient temp here are extreme but after installing this cooler in my cabinet i.e Thermaltake H21 window temp were like ideal 20-25°C and while 100% load it never went above 40°C . i have overclocked my CPU after installing this...

Im very pleased with the performance of the cooler master 212 suits my gaming needs perfectly and very silent.

Cons :It does occupy quite some space i have a large cabinet so no issues but i would advise buyers to make sure that the cooling systems fits and that it does not obstruct your ram slots.....
