Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO Cooler

This product was delivered is 4 days from flipkart instead of the mentioned 10-12 days expected delivery. Once again outstanding work from FK. Packaging was very nice and product was box-seal packed genuine.

Coming to the product, this is the best price to performance ratio CPU cooler available in Market today. We have many costly CPU coolers avialable. But I don't think wasting double money for extra 2-3 degree Celsius is a good option. If you want more performance from this Product, better add an extra Fan in Push-Pull configuration and opt for a better Thermal Paste like TX-3.

After all, I will definitely recommend this product as all you need for cooling your CPU at a decent price. This also supports almost all CPU Types from LGA775 to LGA2011.

Pros:
1. Quite silent. PWM fan
2. Reduced idle temp by 6C (earlier 42C) and full load by 15C (earlier 60C)
3. Comes with all accessories needed for installation

Cons:
1. Heatsink is too big. Can be a problem with some mid-tower cabinets. Doesn't fit in mine although I have a full size cabinet
2. Blocks at least one RAM slot. Not good for me, because I have only two slots

Notes:
1. Recommended as it's a VFM product for the price range
2. Ensure to take all measurements in your cabinet before ordering this one
3. If you still have ample space in your cabinet you can install another 120mm fan in a push-pull config. Ensure to have same fan specs though

I got this cooler setup last saturday. And, man am I surprised by the performance. Ok, here is my rig:
ASUS m4a78t-e mobo, amd phenom II 720 BE proccy, GSKILL 8GB 1600MHZ cas 9 RAM, ati 4870 1GB, corsair 750TX and 3 HDDs of 1TB each

All right, now to the point. I was running amd stock cooler for the past 3 years. My idle temps were 60 C and load temps used to be between 70 - 75 C depending on the game I am playing.. I live in Delhi and these temps are without an AC in the room. If I switch on the AC, temps would fall to 55 C and 65 C respectively..

Now, the sweet part... With this coolermaster cooler, my idle temps are 35 C and load at 45 C WITHOUT the AC..... That is just awesome. My ambient temps must be in the range of 25-32 without the AC... Am so happy with the results on a 2200 R cooler....

Awright, now its time to OC my proccy to 3.8 GHZ...lets see.....

This is an impeccable cooler at a very low price. The cooling to price ratio on this cooler is very high when compared to any other cooler in the market. Noticed a drop of 20 deg centigrade on installing and runs extremely quiet, even under load conditions.
I'd definitely recommend this cooler if you're using a quad/6-core processor for gaming or any other purpose. Flipkart took six days to deliver this product which is new for me because they've always delivered in two days before, but the wait was worth it!

Pros :
Extremely silent.

Very good cooling.
Brackets are provided to add an extra fan to improve the performance.

Cons.

Huge and heavy, you might want to measure your cabinet dimensions and check if the cooler interferes with your ram-slot.

I had to move FAN slightly upward say by 2-3mm so that it create a room between FAN and RAM installed in first slot, this movement is hardly visible. So if anyone is worried about RAM frist slot clearance for MSI Z68XXXX board, just buy it, no problem at all.
If you have corsair vengenace RAM, this cooler will NOT fit, until you either install RAM in 2nd and 4th slot or you will need to install FAN on the other side.
