The first PSU i received was defective (fan does not spin), Flipkart replaced the same with a working one.

Silent, Powerful and meets the power requirements of my computer and GPU.

Being a software engineer, my hard disk and system matters to me most and so i understand importance of reliable power. Well shielded cables gives confidence and make feel much more safer than those local SMPS which i had used previously. Overall fully satisfied. Flipkart as usual does it work very nicely and delivered well packed just the next day of order :)

Starts making a noise after about an hour of use if mounted on the top of cabinet. perhaps it behaves better if it is in bottom mount cabinets (as the fan direction will change to top).

But, expected better from Cooler Master. A new PS making an irritating sound after some 45-50 minutes of usage is surely not acceptable, especially from an expensive brand like cooler master.

Other than this, the PS worked as expected.

I am writing this review after 2 years of usage.
The product is very very silent and yes it works flawless even after 2 years with all the dust around it.Its powerful enough to cool down the temperature even if the dust particles sticks to it.
You must go for it.

It is one of the entry level PSU series from Cooler Master. Its a great PSU for its price, very silent and cool. Before getting this I was using an iBall PSU (cheap one) which caused random reboots after nearly 3 months of usage. While selecting a PSU, if you go for cheap brands then you may end up with a fried motherboard someday. Its wiser to do some research and spend some money on a branded PSU like the ones from Corsair, CM, Antec, Seasonic, etc. This one has got long cables and the cabl...

So you will need to use an adapter. Or use a different power cable. Real pity, since the included power cable is fuse protected and otherwise solidly built!
