COOLER MASTER Thunder 500W 500 Watts PSU

Ordered obviously from flipkart before one month with solid packaging ,the product is super cool in operation ,i am using such PSU for the first time previously i had 500watts Enter PSU,I was lil bit tensed that how is the product ,but as soon as i fitted i was amazingly shocked with the performance,initially i made some noise while adjusting the voltage and current levels, but after that it gave full satisfaction of buying this awesome psu,this is a budget level psu but serves better than t...

Am using this on my gaming pc and this works well. Earlier I used to have a powerful 550 PSU, that too corsair. Was very doubtful if this brand will work or not. But works like a charm, for me.

For all the others, my system config is 1gb 7 series graphics, i5, 8gb ram.

1.I bought this product for my gtx 260 graphics card for playing games as gtx 260 needs atleast 500watts psu with 36amp on 12v rails.it meets the requirements quite well and now i can play lots of games on full load with ultra settings.

2. Silent operation of internal fan.
3. Manageable wires, long enough to cover extra connected HDD
4. DustProof Design
5. Good quality cables.

It definitely can deliver good power.
My spec: AMD FX 8320, Raedon HD 5770, 6GB ram. and two HDD and one SSD and it all runs smoothly.
Everything runs silent, till I pushed it by playing Assassins Creed Unity, and Advanced Warfare.

Good Cable with enough length and covering,
Silent enough,
Good Power supply.

This is a great product for the price and powers my AMD 8320 based PC. Since many of the other reviews cover the Pros, I am only going to write Cons.

Cons:
1. Wrong power connector. This came with a UK type power connector, for which I had to find an adapter to connect it to my UPS.
2. The CPU power connector cable is not long enough for proper cable management. I couldn't reach the socket through the rear side of the motherboard and it is hanging over the CPU fan right now.

Though the delivery is little bit late than the normal high speed delivery of Flipkart the product is neatly and safely packed and is delivered in very good condition.

The power supply is working superbly and is extremely noiseless which makes me to wonder whether the PSU fan is running or not .

Have long cables (mother board supply cables are with sleeve for extra protection) to use with any type cabinet and with enough multiple type connectors...

nice product! i'm using this for 9 months, till now the noise level is very less & highly durable... Works great with mid range graphics card like Zotac GTX 650ti Boost edition.
