Corsair CMPSU-600GUK 600 Watts PSU

Very good power supply.
Using it with :
Asus P8Z68-V LE motherboard
Intel Core i5 2500K stock overclocking
Asus GeForce N210 Silent graphics card.

It is top as well as bottom mountable. Has a lot of connectors (6 sata powe cables, 2 PCI-E graphics power calbes and 6 IDE power cables)
Its quite heavy (may be because of good heat sinks) and long cables.

Only downside is the price (but since its not an Indian company, it may be justifiable).
The blue LED looks nice at first, but the light comes out of the back of the SMPS as well, and I didn't like that, so I turned it off(there is a push switch for that at the back beside the SMPS power switch. Keep in mind not to turn off the SMPS accidentally when turning off the LED)

Its an amazing product..

Could have gone for Seasonic S12-II 620W for better quality Taiwanese Capacitors.. but Corsair

I set it on my system today. From the first look at it, quality is all I saw in this PSU. Here's my review

> Good quality thick cable which includes two 6 pin connectors. This is good if you want to configure system with SLI/Crossfire.
> Super Super Silent even when you're close to it.
> Blue LED looks really nice and can be switched off.
> Power cable included with screws and plastics strips for managing cables inside the cabinet(I don't know the technical term for it)

Suggestion : This PSU is best used with a nice cabinet with lot of space inside. It appears to be designed for cabinet that has space for PSU at the bottom. People using small cabinet might face trouble managing the cables as the cables are thick and without proper space you might face problem while reseating/installing memory or graphics card.

First of all i didnt bought this from flipkart the price here is too high(i got it 4500).
The Smps itself looks very great.
It is very heavy then other smps.
There is switch for turning fan on and off.
Wires are covered with mesh which makes them thick so they are hard for cable management.(in my case i was not able to manage the cables so buy a bigger cabinet then mine).
It provides better protection then other rival brands.
Overall great product.

All the reviews stating that it makes very less noise turned out to be true. Build quality is good. Worth the price, in my opinion.

Comes with power cord with UK style plug, so you either have to use a converter or other power cords. Using a converter would be better as the plug has a in-built 13A fuse.

The other thing I liked about this PSU is that there is no need to manually set a switch to 110V or 230V (there is no such switch, in fact). The PSU detects the voltage automatically!

In few un-boxing videos, I had seen a Corsair Sticker/Badge which I did not find in my box.

And as usual, super fast delivery by Flipkart. Ordered on 27th at around 8.30 pm and was delivered on 29th at 10.00 AM !!
