Corsair CMPSU-650TX 650 Watts PSU

I am using a seagate hdd..I had replaced it two times as because of its improper work..My Sony DVD writer also get malfunctioned.
Then later after my research i came to know that all the hardwares were absolutely fine..Only the problem was of SMPS(Power Supply)due to which the hardwares were malfunctioning.Then i bought this one and now everuthng is on track and running smoothly without any problem.The hardware failiure usually causes in certain periods due to improper voltage supply to hardware components.So always use a good and branded power supply unit like of Corsair & Cooler Master.You have to invest in an Branded SMPS like this just for once as branded smps usually comes with 3 to 5yrs warranty and they rung more than their warranty periods for years if used properly.So first get noticed how much watts your total p.c consumes and buy a SMPS according to it.Mostly 650w gets sufficient and future-proof wid a config like"i7 2600k cpu,8gb ram,1tb hdd,Asus P8Z68-V PRO GEN3 Motherboard,24x DVD writer,Corsair Hydro Series H60 Liquid CPU Cooler,1GB GDDR5 1ghz GPU etc"
Then all your hardwares will run smoothly without any problems if you use a branded SMPS like this.

Pros:

Cons

NOTE: some low quality UPS may not be able to supply sufficient current(with good wave quality) to the SMPS from battery, in such cases good SMPS, especially those with Active PFC, might switch off when UPS is on battery(when mains is off). So you might want to check your UPS; to supply a 650W SMPS, UPS should preferably be >800 VA, better to get a 1000 VA UPS.

This is the best budget power supply for gamers. It has sufficient power cables which are well sleeved to avoid damages from folding of wires. Sufficiently long cables to meet the need of even a full tower cabinet!

This PSU has two (6+2) pin cables which permit you to use crossfire cards only upto the AMD Radeon 7850 and SLI of Nvidia GTX 660, because they need only one 6 pin power cable to power them. The video cards of the higher series require two 6 pin power connectors to power “each” card. So no crossfire or sli available there (e.g. radeon 7870, 7900, etc., GTX 670, 680, etc). You can use only one of these high end cards in your system with this power supply.

If your going to go for crossfire or sli of low to medium range cards or a single high end card, this power supply will meet all your needs. You can also connect upto 7 HDDs.

I had a old Zebronics 500W True SMPS on research found out that its not what it claims the +12V is only 24A thats why my computer used to shut off often

Got this baby after a lot of research and main thing here is it has a +12v Single Rail of 53A, Which means it can power up any hardcore computer with SLI Cards, throw any card 7850 or 6950 or 6970 or 7970 this baby will fire it up with out an issue.

- Has 2x6 pin PCIE connector
- Best thing is the cable management tags you get with it

I have this baby hooked up in coolermaster 431 plus midtower which i got from flipkart as well and it rocks

TX650V2 is awesome power supply go for it and enjoy the show.

The package arrives with enough protection and beads ,it contains enough zip ties and screws to mount this PSU, make sure your ups have enough power , an inverter might do the deed if it is digital with a ups mode in its back,the fan will not run unless this PSU thinks its components are hot but it sure spins on start up, even when fan spins it is dead silent ,the only thing that does make sound is my stock cooler and make sure you have a good extension cable and a good ups which can power up the monster else computer freezes as ups cannot supply rated power
The product as you know its from corsair,the quality is high and you will never regret buying it and you should have a case with good cable management like corsair 400r ,it is compatible with the intel 4th generation hasewell and i'm glad that i own this
