Very, Very Fast

Bought this ram module a year ago, though many people don't care about specifications, this one is way powerful than other items in the market.
THE STRANGE THING IS,
-->THIS IS AN OVERCLOCKED HIGH PERFORMANCE RAM-->(1333mhz--->1600mhz
--> THIS IS POWERFUL THAN ALL THE 4GB ddr3 RAM MODULES PRESENT
--> AND ON FLIPKART< THIS COMPONENT SELLS FOR JUST 1.2K,
WHILE THE OTHER STOCK CLOCKED RAM's RUN AT 1333mhz are SOLD FOR 1.5k

Though I agree that the ram stick is operating at overclocked dual channel frequency, but look at the CAS latency.... That no. is 11 (Product no. is CMX4GX3M1A1600C11, "C11" denotes CAS latency) For those who don't know what it is there you go :-

Frequency :- No. of cycles per second (5th std definition)
CAS latency :- No. of cycles it takes for RAM to respond

Performance= No. of responses per second= Frequency/CAS latency

Let's take the XMS3, 1600/11 = 145.5
And a considerably cheaper Kin...

Nice buy if bought at a lower price; now it's (actually all RAMs are) too expensive

I bought two sticks/modules of this RAM in Jan 2013 a very low price. Flipkart delivered them the next day – that’s speedy! I returned one for performance issue and now I regret not immediately buying another one - since the prices have doubled now.
Paired it with Intel i3 3rd gen and H77 ASUS motherboard. On the performance front, I should say the RAM is awesome since I got it at a low price-performance ratio. Ideally, if you don’t use XMP in BIOS, the RAM should run at 1333 MHz and if you w...

Corsair XMS 3 4 GB RAM

Great Product. This is my second set of stick, with 16GB the Rig Flies.

However the entire experience was spoiled by Flipkart and their favourite retailer - WS Retail. What an horrible experience. Make sense to spare a few hours and buy one across the counter rather than wait endlessly for Flipkart to deliver.

To top it all, you also have an arrogant help line ie. if you would call it a help line in the first place.

5 stars for the product - Minus 5 for the entire Flipkart experience
