Creative HS-390 Headset

I just bought this one from Flipkart and got it delivered today. This is an extremely poor quality headset.

The sound output is too low and the mic doesn't work at all.

AVOID THIS PRODUCT!

i wish i could rate it in negatives....
first impressions well they look good and that's the end of the story..
you try to put them on and these things bite your ears off, very hard plastics for the around the head design,considering these are computer headphones you cant use them with glasses on which makes them pointless.the microphone is way too flimsy and never stays where you want it to.and because of their design you cannot look up without moving the position of the headset.

next comes the sound
30 mm neodymium drivers don't really feel like real ones the sound output is very low considering the fact that these are connected to a decent computer sound card.

lows: the bass doesn't even exist the headphones i bought for a bus journey at a local store for Rs.100 had better bass than these though the clarity on the lows is a tad better than the Rs.100 ones

mid range: these is where the headphones get better the mid's are safe to say way better than the lows. this is the only part of the headphones i like,which is also good because you can hear normal people speak in this range.

highs : decent performance here too but not as good as the mid's the treble at high frequencies sounds very digital but over all still pretty bad for the kind of hardware this has.

durability: brittle plastics, flimsy microphone, the wire is kind of decent but these is this brittle plastic control thing, which i can see breaking in about a couple of months.
the foam padding is decent quality wise but you can still feel the plastics when you wear them.

the microphone: lets just assume that they simply did not exist.
and there is this annoying protruding thing on the left side of the headphones.
well the microphone is incredibly noisy, never stays where you want it to, picks up a lot of background noise(even though the box clearly says *clear noise cancelling microphone* and did i mention that its very annoying and never stays put.

conclusion:
if you are actually planning to buy it
well you should not
because of its design it clamps on behind the ear (ever wore really tight glasses) these things can cause a migraine
Now this is good enough reason for you to not buy these whats the point of headphones when you cannot wear them??

audio quality wise your better off buying something cheaper.

this gets one star because its got decent mid range frequency performance.

I have been using this headphone for the last one year. This headphone is not designed for Music, Movies, Gaming etc. This is strictly for voice chat. I am saying this because the quality of mic is exceptional!!!. I have been using this for skype calling and everyone pleased with it's quality and they always asked me which headphones I am using.

You will feel pain after for long term use for the first 2 to 3 months. But when you get used to it, it won't be a problem for you and you would know how to use it such a way that you won't get pain at all.

So, if you are looking for a headphone for skype calling, voip, google talk etc, go for it.

Though i dint buy this product through flipkart, i want to advise others not to buy this product. The audio output is very low. And speaking of reliability(Known for Creative) it is good so far(1 year).

Product not so great, low audio output , low bass, hurts ur ear when used 4 long.
well, u don't expect a miracle at this price range, but do search for alternatives b4 buying this one..
