Creative SBS A120 2.1 Multimedia Speakers

I didn't buy this product , but being a Computer Hardware technician I recently heard its sound.
First of all I am amazed with its sound quality and loudness!!
Even when the volume at half level , it is loud enough.
Bass does crack a little at high volume if you don't adjust it from your PC / Music player.
Its connections are as follows.
power cable : attached to main subwoofer system ; cant remove.
wired volume control : has two wires with a 3.5mm headphone pin for each.one should be connected to the PC volume out , and other pin goes to the subwoofer system.
two speakers with RCA pins.
the main Subwoofer system also has a power switch at the back.
its sound quality is worth money , creative is really good.

Drawback: does not has a bass controller .But it doesnt matter if your PC has a overall bass controller.

Creative SBS A120 is just awesome! Well, Creative have been in this domain with required mastery for quite sometime now :) And all of it is seen in this product!
The design of the product is very attractive. Very nice and compact speakers. The sound quality is very crisp and pleasurable for the ears! To groove, we have a very powerful woofer system!
All these can be controlled with a wired remote control too!
Couldn't ask for more. "Creative", "Superb audio enhancement","Good price" and of course "Flipkart" :)

I bought this for 950 Rs about 8 months back...Love it...Good for small rooms...Only issue i had with it was that the transformer blew inside the woofer during a really bad voltage fluctuation...but a lotta electronics in our area was affected in that fluctuation...including a 7000Rs speaker system...so cant blame that on the speaker...but my issue was that when I tried contacting the Creative people for repair cuz i had warranty, I discovered that both the local and national Customer Care numbers given on various sites were no longer in service...and it cost me more than half the price of the speaker to get that particular transformer replaced as transformers with this one's particular ratings were hard to find..!

I bought this product some 4 years back (not from Flipkart) when I was in college and since then the product has not given me a single trouble. Currently I have a device of Sony and another from JBL. They are obviously better. But when I compare the price, this product is simply the best.I will point out some of the important aspects of this product.

Pros:
1. Longevity: My one is running for continuous 4 years without any technical problem.
2. No Depreciation: The sound quality is same for the last 4 years and has not depreciated at all.
3. Sound: The sound is really clear and noise free, in short, the best in this price range.
4. Volume: The volume can really go very high in this device and that is also without catching any noise or breakage of the sound.
5. Bass: The bass is really very good, especially when you keep the sub-woofer on the cardboard box of the package. :)

Cons:
1. Control: It has only one control for both bass and volume. So, for variable bass and volume you have to rely on your players audio settings.
2. Not Remote controlled: The device has no remote control.

Some Tips:
1. Keep your speakers and sub-woofer away from water or moisture (use silica gel).
2. DO NOT THROW THE DEVICE. :)
3. Use it regularly.
4. Do not use the digitally enhanced volume of the player software (like more than 100% volume in some players..not naming them because of copyright issue). Instead, use the full volume of the device and your player hardware like PC or laptop.

I always wanted a good set of speakers for my comp and after a short survey I ordered the Creative SBS A120 . I found it cheaper here then in the market and thought that I will buy some expensive and better 1 later. But wen I received the delivery and started using, I found the external volume control system very convenient and now I literally don't have any plans for buying any speakers . Well , its really loud and clear and serves the cause more then what i expected .And yeah the delivery was just on time as all the other products I purchased.
Altogether I am satisfied with the product and want to say that it really worth the money i paid..
