Cheap and best Iron
This is good and reliable Iron if you are not a very frequent user and do ironing occasionally this is best option to go with with reason:-
1. It is not very expensive.
2. Compton is popular and reliable brand.
3. Has Multiple setting and less heat up time.
4. Light in weight and within budget power consumption.
so just go for it.
Also I like to appreciate Flipkart for providing timely delivery and excellent service.

Good for regular use....
This is the second iron box that I'm buying from flipkart (Previous one was also Crompton Greaves 750W). Iron box heats very fast as it is of 1000W, so be careful when you are ironing the silk clothes... The color of the iron box is so nice and the build quality is good. But the problem is the steel body which is below the handle, it also gets heated along with the bottom panel... If you iron regularly then just go for it.....

This is a good product, heats up quickly, the temperature control works good, selection of temperatures for various kinds of clothes works great.
As it is 1000 W power, it makes sense to lower the temperature, even while ironing thick clothes, otherwise danger of clothes getting burnt.
A good product from a reputed brand, Flipkart like always offers fabulous discounts, which are not available outside.

Crompton Greaves CG-LD+Iron
Good appliance, service of flipkart is good only in few cities. I feel they should include more places and make there services felt same across the nation not just to few metros etc. the iron box gets heated in just few seconds. Never thought that CG is so cheap that for bringing down their input cost they have reduced the cord length drastically. over positive.

Decent product
Decent product, does it job and worth the price paid. Heats up fast (1000W) and stays heated for about 3-4 min after being switched off. Doesn't look like its got great finish but you couldn't get better stuff for 400/-.
Suggest pick it from FlipKart for about 25 /- less than store-shelf and get it delivered at home for free!
