After 25 years of practicing law, the goal of many attorneys is to add fun, excitement and fulfillment to their lives. The author has been practicing law in Chicago for over 30 years and has been involved in life-coaching for the last 12 years. Attorneys spend almost 25 years going to school and another 25 years building a law practice and raising a family. Once over the age of 50, we notice a rapidly shrinking window of youth. Time determines the quantity of our remaining years, but we have earned the right to determine the "quality" of those years. The fundamental issue is whether to wait for retirement or take action now while we are still young.
