The most iconic city in the world is in siege. A deadly virus is wiping out the entire population. Terrifying and menacing aliens are trying to take over the city. No army is strong enough to defeat them. In Crysis 2 you as super-soldier Alcatraz are sent in to locate their weakness and destroy them. The only question is can you do what no other soldier can?
The sequel to the epic Crysis series is back with much more action and advanced features that will keep you glued to your computer for hours. Targeted towards hard-core gamers, Crysis 2 promises a memorable gameplay experience. The First-Person-Shooter game is available for the PC platform and has a Mature rating from ESRB.
Synopsis and Features
The city of New York is in Chaos. An unknown and deadly virus is spreading through the city like wildfire. To make matters worse, there is an outbreak of aliens. These aliens are ruthless, cunning and deceiving and they have only one objective – conquer the entire city. You, Alcatraz, are equipped with a super-human strength inducing Nanosuit. You have to use the suit to enhance your abilities and fight against the aliens to save the city of New York.
Developed by Crytek and published by Electronic Arts, Crysis 2 immerses you into a brand new story that will keep you at the edge of your seats. The minimum system requirements to run this game on your computer are Windows 7, Vista or XP, Intel Core 2 Duo 2 Ghz or AMD Athlon x2 processor, 9 GB disk space, 2 GB RAM and a 512 MB equipped Nvidia GeForce 8800 GT or ATI Radeon 3850HD graphics card.
Crysis 2’s single player takes you on a spectacular, visually enhanced journey across New York. The city is torn and destroyed to a major extent. The war atmosphere is eerie, giving the game a dark feel. The game follows an objective completion model, where you have to complete a set of objectives to move forward in the story. This doesn’t mean you are restricted to a level-based gameplay. In fact, you can find various routes and methods to complete the objectives as you seem fit.
The highlight of the game is the Nanosuit. The Nanosuit has different modes that allow you to jump higher, be stronger and even be invisible. You just have to give a command to the suit and it will obey it in any situation. The suit has a recharging mechanism which refills automatically when depleted. The suit even allows you to combine multiple modes, making it easy to defeat enemies.
The combat has been reworked and now allows you to grab enemies by the neck and throw them at alarming distances. You can now kick cars to great distances using the suit’s powers. The game has beautiful visual environments that get a lot better if you crack up the graphics settings.
Customization has always been a highpoint with Crysis games and the same continues with Crysis 2. You can modify, attach and enhance your guns with military grade equipment. You can even upgrade your Nanosuit by using the glitter like substance that is available when you kill an alien. The soundtrack of Crysis 2 is clear and aggressive, drawing and involving you into the gameplay much further.
Crysis 2 has an array of different multiplayer options. The game has 6 different modes that allow you to team up with friends and wreak havoc. The variants include Instant Action, Team Instant Action, Crash Site and a capture-the-flag variant. Online multiplayer options include Assault and Extraction.
The gameplay follows the same rules as the single-player campaign where you have to defeat your friends using the Nanosuit’s abilities. Each win will earn you experience points which you can use to enhance your weapons and unlock other cool things.
The DLCs for the game include Crysis 2: Retaliation and Decimation. The DLCs add new maps and extra weapons, allowing you to play the game for more hours. Updates, demos and trailers can be directly downloaded from the company’s website.

AAAH i am relieved to say that's its a ausum game
Without dx 11 this games look ausum but after using dx 11 its looks down right jaw dropping sun glowing like real face animation is ausum and all the effects are rocking
Voice acting is great, gun sounds like real and tunes are great
When i started the campaign story seems to be like shit but as i progressed story started to make sense and in the it felt like like an epic story
It's great having such a great graphics in multiplayer and community playing crysis 2 is also very good challenging its has all nanosuit power available
AAAH this is the area where where crysis rocks and sucks u can upgrade ur suit power customize ur gun and visor look helps in planning tactics but when u r in cloak mode ceph sometimes spots
u and this is bad as well as when u wen u walk during crouch u cannot overcome and small obstacle
Its very high campaign takes near about 10 to 12 hours and multiplayer can be played for 100 of hours
Take my advice and go for it
Pepole say that bf3 is the best fps game with the best graphics but hold on u can't say so after the dx11 update to crysis 2.All i can say is crysis 2 is so much better than bf3 in every aspect be it in effects while u shoot or even the textures of buildings are very good, the amazing lighting effects in crysis 2(looks awesome when u see the sun rays peeping through the leaves) whereas when u shoot in bf3 it doesn't give u that feeling(proper effect is missing) as u do get in mw3 or crysis 2. To sum up I would say bf3 is a bit overrated as compared to crysis 2 in terms of single mode campaign, graphics( crysis 2 is slightly ahead) and effects.
Crysis 2 deserves more applaud.
Being a great fan of Crytek games, I loved and played Crysis & Crysis Warhead multiple times without feeling bored at all. I had even more expectation for the Crysis 2 and all the hype that was built around it. The game per se was anything from what I had envisioned but honestly, did not exceed the expectations as I had hoped.
The price was unbeatable and the product was delivered on time. The packaging was top notch and in all, a great seller! Nevertheless, It's a great game and with the killer price (for PC), it's worth every rupee you spend for it.
Crysis 2 sidesteps the excessive simplification of recent shooters with Nanosuited grace. It mixes destruction with beauty, and manages to deliver a more focused experience than its predecessor while retaining the building blocks of what made the original Crysis unique. Crysis 2 is the kind of game that speaks in superlatives -- and even when it stumbles, it's quick to recover, always pushing forward to another amazing moment.
Don't Think before buying this Game!!
Go On Gamers!! :)
This game is one of its kind , graphics are amazing , sound is great.Single player is a bit of disappointment comparing to crysis 1 but i bought this for multiplayer which is quite awesome .Its graphics and nanosuit 2.0 makes it a hell of a game.Although maps are small and no vehicles but with nanosuit you don't really miss them but must say that this game had a lot more potential. Thanks to flipkart for delivering it on time.
