Crysis

That's one word word to sum up my review of this game. Even though the game is 4 years old. Its capable of challenging even the latest rigs with its graphical prowess. If you have a machine capable to run this one, i'd say go for it! This is easily one of the best games i've ever played in my 7 years of gaming. Crytek has lived up to all the expectations regarding crysis. Awesome game.

I am not a great fan of the first-person shooter games genre, but I loved playing Halo: Combat Evolved on my PC. It was the best video game I ever played. At one point of time, I thought that no other game could surpass the legacy of Halo. But.....I was wrong. When I first played Crysis three years ago, I was completely blown away by it. Addictive gameplay, immense graphics, gripping storyline......I cannot describe about the greatness of this game in words. It has established itself as a benchmark about how a true video game should be. Whether you are a fan of the FPS genre or not, I definitely guarantee you that once you play this game, you will be mesmerised by it completely. The Crytek Engine provided the game with such an uber graphics which no game ever got. This is definitely one of the best video games ever to be made. If you ask me to choose between Halo: Combat Evolved and Crysis, it will be a tough decision for me.

calling it just a game is equal to insulting it ,, its the legend that has changed PC -gaming for ever ..super gameplay ,superb graphic (at the time of its release it was the most real looking game) , superb story different weapon customization . and the mostly
Nanosuit v.1 ,, which is totally incredible ,,it has five modes (clock =makes u invisible ,strength= makes u power full to punch or jump and accurate aim ,speed = increase speed of every activity we do..
Single Player is very good (i have played the whole campaign 10 times)
but when u will start playing Multiplayer ,, u will find that its 10 times better than Singleplayer !!

this is the lowest priced FPS game on flipkart ................ plus it's got nice graphics and decent multiplayer ..................,add to that the super service of flipkart ....................and you've got yourself a pretty sweet deal

PROs:
1. Amazing graphics, almost like a real world.
2. Good engaging story line.

CONS:
1. This is not an FPS game for casual gamers like me playing serious sam, max payne-1, doom-3 or unreal2 the Awakening etc. It involves very careful approach, mainly using your suit powers in every step. A single mistake, and you are bound to reload from the last checkpoint or quicksave.
2. You are overwhelmingly outnumbered by the huge presence of enemies, and useful ammo is hard to come by.
3. The game is linear only for namesake. It actually has so many things to explore, so many ways to approach a target, that you always almost tend to miss out the main objective. I had to read online walkthrough to find out what to do (finding the uphill path to meet up with my team) after killing almost 90% of the enemies and roaming thereafter for about 2 hours here n there.
4. There are too many things to control - vehicle, weapon modification, operating the nanosuit and many others, for which I almost tend to forget that it is at the first place an FPS.
5. It is very difficult to complete even the first chapter 'Contact' even in EASY mode. I frequently had to use GOD and Unlimited ammo to pass through it.
6. In spite of so many things to operate and control, there is not a training chapter at the beginning. Even simple games like Unreal-2 the Awakening has basic training chapter. This makes a newbie feel very frustrated after jumping straight away into action and failing at every step in the first chapter in the easiest of modes.

Overall, it's definitely a legendary game with next generation graphics. But it's not for every FPS enthusiast.
