A Good Modem for a decent price
I have been using this modem for 2 days and here is my observation.
BASIC FACTS :
- This is a MODEM which you can use to replace your existing broadband modem. I bought this to replace my ZTE bsnl modem and it works great with the BSNL broadband connection.
- It does not function as a Wireless Router, you will have to purchase an additional wireless router like Neatgear or Linksys and connect it to this modem for wireless connectivity.

A good replacement ADSL modem for MTNL broadband
This is by far the most value for money ADSL modem, if you have to replace your old modem for BSNL
broadband connection and you already have a wireless router separately. This can work as a modem
as well as a router without WiFi. If you want to share the internet with multiple computers, you can
buy an external Ethernet switch and connect this in DHCP mode. You can also use it to connect your

WORST PRODUCT EVER FROM D-LINK
It works properly for a month .after then< adapter stops working.
I replaced a new adapter.It worked for two months.Then after six months it GETS DISCONNECTED EVERY 15 MINUTES (IRREGULARLY).

Good plug-n-play modem
In my whole Network setup, the Airtel's Beetel ADSL Modem was the Achilles' heel and I've been meaning to replace it for quite sometime. Flipping through Flipkart led me to this good modem and I like it.
Setup was a breeze. CD was useless as we no longer have or use CDs/DVDs. But the IP Setup went smoothly - the auto-detect was pretty great except for the MTU for Airtel which wanted a different number.
That's it, all setup with the username/password, disable the DHCP and a manual Google DNS...

Dont go for this.........
I recently bought it from flipkart the delivery was good it took around 4 days thats ok for me as i live in a remote town but I m not satisfied with the product because this took me lot of time to configure it than after that i saw that the net disconnects after 30 to 40 mins and the biggest problem was that it gets hot very fast even we cannot download a file which can take around 3 hrs.......If ur budget is tight than add more 70 bucks and opt for TP-Link wireles one.....

Something I noticed was that the DNS server was defaulting to a spam DNS server. Even if you re-configure it. I am not sure if this came like this out of the box or after a time of having it connected.
If you ever buy this product please check the DNS server mentioned in the settings, Google that IP address and you will see what I mean, change it to your preferred DNS server and re-check the setting in a week. If this defaults back then its hacked firmware. Return Immediate...

Bad quality DLink ADSL modem plus router - avoid
This is the 2nd time I am buying this product but this one too conked off in less than a month like last time. It does not power on anymore. Jut to add, I stay in Powai in Mumbai city and here we have never had any power fluctuations.
Generally DLink is a well known brand but this particular item from Dlink is lowest in quality
