I have been a regular customer for Flipkart and have ordered multiple items. However, off late they seem to slipping up on their delivery commitments. I ordered the D-Link 2750u router+modem last week, the promised delivery time being 2 to 3 days. Received the product after 7 days. Yesterday ordered D-link DIR 505, and am informed that it will be delayed by 3 days. While a delay of 3-4 days for these kind of products does not make so much difference, its the service quality of Flipkart which causes concern and makes me think twice before ordering the product. On-line shopping business is all about reliability and logistic management and if Flipkart continues to stumble, its indeed regretful.
As far as the product is concerned, it was a breeze to install and is working smoothly for the past couple of days.
So rating, 5 star for the modem, 1 for flipkart.
1) The manual configuration is too complex. Luckily i found online tutorials to setup it up.
2) I use MTNL,MUMBAI. And since i started used this modem, Not only am I getting poor speed but also frequent disconnection and the internet hangs until I reset.
3) The WIFI on this is wierd, it'll connect to some devices and not to some devices, and since I have some network knowledge, I can surly say its the problem with the modem and not configurations on the device. For eg. it'll connect to one of my iphones out of two and not connect to a Windows Laptop. Plus the WIFI signal keeps breaking.
Not an good product.
As far as the router is concerned, only issue is that you require a Windows PC to setup as the web UI is not intuitive for beginners. Make sure that you know the setup for your provider (VCI/VPI userid/password) and the setup should be a breeze.
Range is good, I have tested upto 75 feet across two floors. So far, so good.
Flipkart delivered this product within 36 hours flat. As usual, excellent service and delivery from India's Amazon.
I am using this device for past one week and I found it very useful. Value for money. I am very happy that I can configure it as a wireless print server as well for my Panasonic USB MFP, which was not mentioned in the product specification. Flipkart delivery in Kochi not very good.
Be very careful when you buy anything on flipkart as this is the second time I am getting Sc****d. Title of this product does not tell you this a modem + router . maybe N ADSL means that , but do most people know that means a modem ???????!!!! Now I am not able to use this product and I realize I cannot even exchange!!!!
please dont buy a wifi router or any computer accesory from flipkart. cos if it is not compatable then ur money goes down the drain as flipkart will refuse to take the product back and replace it. any electronic store like ur vijay sales or croma replaces the product within seven days if the product is not damaged. however flipkart just doesnt care. they hv a simple policy once sold we dont care. this is the worst service that I have recieved.

Received it in original packaging with all contents. The installation CD could not detect the router! Even after multiple tries, the install software on CD kept saying to plugin the router and turn on.
So I followed manual setup steps, got the settings from my old router that came with BSNL broadband connection. Its working fine. I can access the wifi signal across 2 walls in my 3BHK flat which was not possible with my earlier router.
Also tried at my parent's bunglow, when router was kept at downstairs, wifi signals were lost at first floor across the other side of the bunglow. So not very very strong coverage but decent coverage.
Well my old BSNL nokia siemens router went faulty and this led to my search for its replacement(it served me for 4 yrs...its time had come)... Anyways after much research and deliberation, i decided to go with this dlink router and i am surely glad i did..
Setup was a breeze thanks to the cd provided with it... setup took no more than 2 minutes!!!
Its range is much much better than my old one... it covers my entire apartment(about 1800 sqft) with ease crossing 3-4 walls...
I was a bit skeptical about its looks but it looks way better than depicted in the photo above...
And lastly Flipkart's delivery was as usual superfast, delivered to me overnight...
Overall a great buy and i certainly recommend it to all(esp bsnl,mtnl and airtel guys)!!!!
Nice device with very decent signal range.
Administrative console has tons of option to configure the device and security features are additional plus.
Using it for around 6 months, never had any issues with it.
