A perfect wifi solution for mobos with PCI slot
First of all, it took more than usual for flipkart to deliver this, but packaging, again was perfect.But this was an exception, I guess, usually I get all items within 2-3 days at max.
I don't know why many people didn't like this card. I have to say, it works perfectly for me, it has a good range, Windows 7 driver installation is pretty easy.
At a distance of about 40 feet (those are almost far ends of my flat) from WiFi router, and with at least 4 walls in between, it gives me 70% signal...

Works perfect with Virtual Router as a HOTSPOT.
I am a noob as far as networking is concerned. My intention was to create a WiFi hotspot with the least bit of input as far a time and money was concerned. Did a little bit of reading with the help of Google Mamoo. Set this in the vacant PCI slot on my motherboard and loaded only the drivers but not the programme as my intention was only to push out internet and not pull in internet. Loaded virtual Router. Strongly NOT recommended
I am using a top of the line desktop (8-core processor, 16GB RAM, SSD, 2GB DDR5 discrete graphics...you name it) and the signal strength on it is hopeless nothing more than 2 bars even with the router in the adjacent room. My other year old, and 6 year old machines get a full signal strength quality. I am using a Cisco N300 dual radio Enterprise class Router which gives me signal a whole 30ft outside my apartment, and this fails to receive.

A WORTH PRODUCT FOR CREATING HOTSPOT (OUT WARD)
My intention was to create a WiFi hotspot with the least bit of input as far a time and money was concerned. Did a little bit of reading with PC SUNIL. My intention was only to push out internet and not pull in internet. Loaded virtual Router. Everything started working immediately on Windows 7. I am now able to use the internet connection of my desktop on my NOKIA SMART PHONE and Samsung mobile without a glitch.EXPERIENCE SIMILAR AND AS GOOD AS PC SUNIL'S POST DATED 30 JUN 2013.

( Review After 3 days of use ) D-Link DWA-525 just works great right out of the box(After driver installation , obviously !!).
I am really surprised by the range of this item, IT WORKED GREAT AT A DISTANCE OF AROUND 30 FEET FROM THE WIFI TRANSMITTER !!!! JUST AMAZING. I have got a small netgear wifi setup at my home and i bought this product to share my wifi network in another building in front of my house, and you know what !!! it just works great !!

Works great! Good signal strength and Simple to install
To me, this WiFi card works pretty fine. Installation was breeze. Yes I did install the driver first, and the card next. Looks like, Dlink provided Wireless Connection manager sits on top of Windows WiFi stack and enables this card. So when installing make sure your Anti Virus / Firewall is configured properly to allow the software install the drivers. This could be a reason for driver failure in Windows 7. Some security tweak in Windows 7 could fix that. I am not sure anyway.

A good solution for having wireless in a PC
Before buying this product i had a USB wireless adapter. Compared to that this product is much much faster and the range is also really good. I also own a TP-Link wireless PCI adapter but this is way better in terms of quality, operation, rand and speed. Its also very easy to setup. satisfied overall.
