Good buy!!
The box set is good and can endure its share of damage without disturbing the books. The mass market paperback versions aren't bad either and page quality is decent. The font isn't anything we expect from a mass market and they have done a good job on it. For this price I suggest going for the box set, unless you are too disappointed by lack of illustrations.
As for the books, it all begins here. Roland Deschain's quest for the dark tower. One of the most entertaining journeys laced with suspense and brilliance. For all those who love reading especially Stephen King, this is a treat. An the fourth book is some of the best Dark Tower, King has written.
If you aren't into Dark Tower, "Go then -- there are other worlds than these".
