Data Structures and Algorithms Made Easy in Java  (English, Paperback, Karumanchi Narasimha)

This book has a good collection of questions on all the topics. The solutions are explained in most of the cases. However, in many cases the explanations for the solutions are inadequete and one needs to do a Google search to understand the cryptic explanations. The codes used in the explanations are sometimes not Java though one can understand what the author means. It appears as if the book has been compiled in haste.

Last month I got a call from Google and I was so excited for that. For preparation I was looking at all online resources and while searching I found this book and ordered it.

The content of this book is straight to the point and useful for the interviews (specially good and big companies).

Even though I could not make it in the interview, this book covers the required topics.

Superb book. Must read by all java developers/architects. Helpful for interviews, as well as, plain old everyday work. Extremely lucid explanation of difficult concepts with adequate examples. The best thing about this book is that I never even once felt sleepy while reading it (which is completely unusual about me)!!

It is good book, both for intermediate programmers as well as experienced people. It helps to refresh the concepts of DS and Algo in a way that encourages us to solve more problems in different ways. A good way of learning data structures by solving the problems, and this can give a deeper insight into why data structures are designed for a particular purpose.

This book has large variety of questions in very organized manner . This single book is like google.com which has everything about your interviews . Hats off to you!!!

I have first edition book . It has some typos so suggest to buy second edition book , if new edition available . But I am convinced with first edition book as well .

I have almost read the book except the chapters 19, 20 but still I thought I must write the review.

Every one in field of Computer science and programming must read this book. I felt that I missed this book during my education as it was not available at that time. This book can be be definitely included as first or second reference for any course by educational instiutes offerring different graduate and post graduate courses.
