A great Read !

My review can be bit biased as I'm a great fan of Malcolm Gladwell. From Blink, Tipping point, Outliers, What the dog saw & now David & Goliath, I have read all of Malcolms. I must say no one can weave a story with so much of history, stat,science, psychcology & yet present it to the reader that makes the read very factual & exciting(May be this is what you become when you have a Mathematician father, a Psychotherapist Mother , a graduation in history & internship in Journalism)

Oh Mr Gladwell

Remember when we were in our impatient teenages (if you are actually a teenager and have found this book, then BRAVO!)? We wanted everything to be sharply funny, energetically interesting with a punch at the end and a decent slice of humor or sarcasm to top it all off! Malcom Gladwell lives up to the challenge

I had high hopes from this book having read Gladwell's previous works and gladly the author did not disappoint. Malcom Gladwell is one of the few writers who will keep you glued to their work and inspires such curiosity that it is difficult to keep the book down. The simple yet powerful reasons which author presents compels you to change your perspective.

Having read Malcom Gladwell's work, you will definitely look at the world from a different angle. And this book truly justifies this.

Impressive book

I haven't read the book. But I bought it as a gift for someone on the basis of excerpts. I chose it because I found the story-telling technique very skillful and powerful. It is the way I choose books for myself. Reputation of an author is not the most significant criteria while making choices.

While I don't have anything to say about the book, the people who I gave the book to were VERY happy with the book and impressed by my choice.

Good Collection of Essays

One can comes across readings on success and failures. The readings normally one can find in self-help books or fiction. David & Goliath by Gladwell in one interesting collection of nine essays by author on different aspects at least I didn't' come across earlier. The collection starts with the story of David & Goliath, how the same story can be viewed differently. Easy and quick read as well.

Beautiful as expected!

Gladwell's book always has a lot to say and this book did the same. For the things which we tend to pass-by or skip over, he makes us stop to think. The new revelation which he brings, always, succeed to awe.
Few portion seem to have been a little to easy to say but the amount of new thoughts should make up for it. Above the analysis he does, the history can't be missed.
A beautiful book to read.

It's a good pleasant read - as are all other Gladwell books. Well done research and light reading. Of course, if one identifies with the subject matter, then all the more reason one would like the book.
