Deepcool GAMMA ARCHER

This product is amazing, its a 120mm fan that keeps my AMD Phenom II x4 840 at 16 degrees at idle use & a max at 40 degrees while running top notch games. The heatsink does a good job as well.

On the whole real happy with this product & it looks cool too.

(Note: While removing your stock/old heatsink, do not pull it out because you might pull the cpu along with the heatsink, rather twist the heatsink & the old thermal paste will give in & you can clean it up before applying the new thermal ...

I bought this cooler after my intel stock cooler's legs broke :( I found this to be the best cooler both in the field of price and performance. Earlier my CPU temp would go up to almost 60° C but it hovers around 45° - 55° C which is pretty good. It's fans are humongous 120mm, no sound at all, Super silent. I'd give a thumbs up for any one who wants a CPU cooler.

Everything is nice about this cooler except the installation part. The mounting bracket feels flimsy and the seperator for 775/1156 socket is very close. The cooling is nice. My full load CPU temp. was about a 100 C on stock cooler. With this its now in the range of 50 -60 Would definately recommend this cooler but there could be improvement in the installation part. It also does not come with a manual so I had to look it up on the DeepCool website.

My stock intel fan plastic pins got twisted and the mobo, processor used to get pretty much heated resulting in closure of my system. I was fed up with the stock fans cause it was the 2nd already, so I tried to go for this beast the 3rd time.
