Dell Inspiron 15R 2nd Gen Ci3/ 3GB/ 320GB/ Win7 Reviews

I have been using this for a month now. Good Laptop, I3 on Win 7 works nice. 3GB RAM is good, if not great.

Pros: Good Panel, Large screen, watching media(Pictures+Movies) on this laptop gives you a very good feel. The Webcam gives good resolution videos+pictures. Comes loaded with whatever is needed (OS+Antivirus+Dell propriety s/w).Bluetooth 2.1 is decent. Battery backup is good. Should be a good possession for home use. Audio on good headphones should be good.

Cons: The audio on in-built speakers is a let down.Event at maximum volumes, you cannot find great music listening experience because the speakers are placed below.Can attract few finger-marks due to shiny surface.I have bought this for 33,372 on Flipkart. Can see the price increased now. Surprising strategy from Flipkart!

Also would like to share that initially I was sent the normal backpanel(plain black) and after much following it up in the next one week, I was sent the Amira color panel, at free of cost. So although I was disappointed initially with Flipkart services, I was finally given 2 panels at no extra cost.

the product is awesome and also i received a backpack as a freebie it got two skin covers, one is black and the other is red,i am happy to work with it, it has a very sleek look and i am proud to have it.

I have a Dell Inspiron 1,Please dont buy it after 1 year the battery stops charging, then you will have to replace the charger , the battery . Sometimes its needed to replace the charging jack also.
Just google plugged in not charging dell inspiron.Its a issue reported worldwide .

I have ordered Dell Inspiron 15R from Flipkart.com on 10FEB2012 and I have received the order on 14Feb, valantine day. It was gift for my wife so timing couldn't have been perfect.
Now on the Product:
1) Packaging: Packaging was excellent from Flipkart, Everything was wrapped properly with no room for damage.
2) Delivery: It was bummer to see delay from the courier Aramex, who delivered one day late when shipment arrived on the destination, anyway no big deal.
3) Laptop:
Dell laptop has known for its value for money products, and although there are few disappointment here and there but I would say they lived up to their name.
Review:
No-brainer installation with all the software upgraded itself from my home WiFi.
Display is excellent, bright LED, Glossy display with good clarity.But by virtue of its glossy nature, the backlid attracts more than its fair share of fingerprints, smudges and scratches.
SRS sound quality is brilliant, no disturbance even in highest volume.
Keyboard is huge and typing becomes very comfortable, but keys are little tacky with cheap plastic and makes click sound on typing. Dedicated numeric keyboard is definitely plus.
Touchpad is litte huge, but not centerd with QWERTY keyboard(due to numeric key pad, so you might keep moving your cursor if you are typing on high speed.
USB 3.0 is definitely a plus for faster data transfer.
Battery backup is really 4 hours (but again it is now brand new as of now).
Performance has really been very good, as I have run very heavy software consistently and it didn't disappointed me on performance.
Overall: Good value for money with few disappointments.
