Great Product! A Powerful Gaming System at 60K!
Excellent product! Best at its price range if you seriously want a system for intensive gaming (or any other graphics intensive work.) The 17inch 1600 x 900 resolution screen should be a treat to the eyes. The 3rd gen ivy bridge i5 3210M is fast enough for any task.

Great product. You can't get better at this price for gaming.
Bought it about 1 month ago. Thought of using it for some time before I write a review.
Screen - The first thing you notice about this baby is its screen. Its huge! (for a laptop ,of course) The 1600x900 display is a real treat to the eyes. As I migrated from an lcd, I was stunned by how bright and sharp everything looked.

Value for Money
An Excellent laptop by Dell.
Has a amazing 17.3'' Screen with 1600x900 Resolution.
Graphics card is also top notch for this price range. I found it to be the best value for money laptop in the market. No problems with the laptop so far. Runs as fast as expected. Can play most of the games with highest graphics settings available.
I got the laptop for 4,000 less in Flipkart compared to the Dell Official Site. So a very nice Deal.

Initial impressions
I've been using this notebook for a day. Initial impressions:
HEAVY - I like the heavy sturdy feel to the build. Not a lot of flex and as I intend to use this as a desktop replacement, weight is not an issue.
Upgradable - Went into the bios after updating to A03 and found options to add another drive and a mSATA card as well. Need to open the base to check if the hard drive caddy is present.
Software - Not a lot of bloatware considering this is a Dell, I've got a couple of old ones and they w...

First of all hats off to Flipkart's faster than scheduled delivery of the laptop. Thanks.
The laptop is big, but not that big it is troublesome, for me anyway. The laptop has a HM 77 chipset (it is incorrectly noted as B75 express on Flipkart) and a mSATA drive (not mentioned). Must buy
Main reasons to buy this lappy is its NVIDIA GT 650M... It plays almost all games in ultra settings. Currently am playing MAX PAYNE with max settings. even then 1GB graphic memory is still free. I have also bought COOLER MASTER U3 for this big boy. It is the best cooler for this laptop. I use to play higher end games non stop for some 12 hours and have not not felt any heat :) (say it's very negligible heat) .

Best at this price ! Powerful,Big- A Beast !
Overall get-up is elegant and shows that it is a power-pack device from inside. Skullcandy Speakers are a treat to the ears,base is the best so far.Graphics is awesome.almost plays any game as smooth as butter.battery backup is not bad,for a laptop this size 3 hrs is remarkable(movies,Internet,downloading etc goes upto 2 hrs).
The only disappointment was it did not come with a backlit keyboard as it should have.
Display is good. Wide angle view is remarkable.

An Awesome Beast
The first thing you notice once you have got this is that,it is HUGE!!! I had a 15" screen prior to this,so was stunned by the size.
So this is not for someone who wants much portability also I don't think you could use this on your lap for long.
Pros:
Bigger screen...Good for watching movies and series.
Class-1 GPU: 650M ddr5 can max out most games.
Cons:
Battery life : Max 2 hours!!!
Not that much portable
Bottomilne: A very good Desktop replacement in the price range.

This is not a review.
Recently Dell has upgraded the screen to FHD i.e 1920x1080p display and some other components; they have also increased the price.
So for people who need a 17" laptop, this is a bargain as you can't get this model from Dell.
