Description
The Dell Venue Pro is a slick and complete slider QWERTY smartphone with a touchscreen. This phone houses a Windows Phone 7.5 (Mango) OS that is capable of handling all your business and personal needs. The Venue Pro from Dell operates through a 1 GHz Scorpion processor.
The Dell Venue Pro has a 4.1-inch screen with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. This screen helps you view the entire page without you having to strain your eyes or having to pan your screen. The Venue Pro uses the Dell Stage user interface.
The Venue Pro has a 5 megapixel camera built in with an LED flash and autofocus option that allows you to click quality images. The camera also has a geo-tagging facility. This Windows smartphone is capable of HD recording and can record videos with a maximum resolution 720p.
Design
The Dell Venue Pro rolls out with an AMOLED capacitive touchscreen. This smartphone has an accelerometer for UI auto-rotate and also a proximity sensor for auto turn-off. A multi-touch input ensures you get your work done faster than usual.
Storage and battery
The Dell Venue Pro is driven by a Li-Ion 1400 mAh battery. The Dell Pro has an internal memory of 16 GB that can be used to save your music, videos, files and information.
Connectivity and Features
The Dell Venue Pro is equipped with GPRS, EDGE, 3G and Wi-Fi ensuring you are always able to connect to the Internet without any hassles. This phone has Bluetooth and a USB port facility to connect to other devices.
The Venue Pro is essentially your office in your pocket. It has MMS, Email and Push Email along with work related applications like Document Viewer and Document Editor enabling you to work just as effectively as you would if you were sitting at your office desk. Excellent Design and style..
This is simply an AWESOME Smartphone -- the combination of Windows Mobile 7 on the Venue Pro makes for a Smartphone that is extremely responsive, while feeling great in your hand. Two words- buy it!
With the new windows phone 7.5 update (available for free for all windows 7 phones), dell venue pro can give iphone a fair competition.
I won't talk about standard features like wifi, gps, proximity sensor, accelerometer etc. just features that makes this phone stand apart.

1) Pushmail (if ur office uses microsoft exchange server, the mail comes to ur phone even before it shows up in ur outlook!). and one click set up of other mail accounts.

I've been enquired by quite a few peeps who have seen phone in my hand. I use it along-with iPhone 4 but for some reason, people have appreciated Venue Pro in shadow of iPhone 4. I could be a result of: -
- Amoled screen : The screen is very vibrant. 4.1" screen area is just amazing whether you access heavy emails or consume heavy media. One important thing to note is that colours aren't over saturated as in SuperAmoled phones.
- Qwerty keypad : I've not found web bloggers to happy with key...

Excellent Smartphone
I have a Dell venue pro with Windows 7.5 and have not faced a single problem till date.
This is an excellent smartphone with stunning design and performance.Though, it is 15.2mm thick it stills feel very sleek .Thanks to the design.
It could be little heavy though for some.As i was using HTC Touch Pro 2 earlier so personally i have no issues with the weight of the phone and find it handy though.

Pros -

1) Fast and quick UI
2) Easy toggle / management of Data / Wifi / and other settings
3) The sms interface is very simple but better than my other pricey android phones (does lack a few features, but the slider keyboard takes care of everything else)
4) Google sync, facebook sync and Live sync is awesome

The Best Buy
Dell Venue Pro is the best phone for all those who are used to a physical qwerty keyboard. I have compared this phone with other Windows 7 phone, and the Dell Venue Pro's Screen and Display beats the others. Even in the lowest brightness the screen looks better than other phones. So far so good. The only draw back is the Marketplace. Most of the apps are not available for the region.

DVP is the best looking phone today..
no one comes close...
and Mango...is the best OS ...
The camera aint good...after a few changes in the settings..still pictures are awesome..but moving pictures...sorry...sad..
no front facing camera...
but rest everything..awesome...
for this phone I paid 20.5k ...this is a deal !!!
Need to mention Flipkart..awesome service.

You just cant find a better smartphone at this price
I had a budget of around 20k in mind and was looking around for smartphones. thought of options like samsung omnia , nokia lumia , sony xperia ars , then even thought of tab ..

2. Whooping 4.1inch AMOLED display is a treat at 15K price tag
3.WP7 OS runs smooth on 1Ghz processor so dun go by that Other are offering 1.4 and dell is at 1Ghz trust me guys 1GHz in ur pockets is sufficient with WP7

Windows OS rocks- plus a Qwerty Keypad- Faboulous
This is a great looking device, Windows 7.5 is a beautiful smooth as silk OS - Android Fan boys and IOS fanboys who havent checked out WP 7.5 will talk crap for the sake of it
I needed a smart phone with a Qwerty Key pad as I was migrating from Blackberry....
At this price- its a steal
