A really good laptop at a really good price!!
1.7 GHz 4th gen core i5 with turbo boost to 2.7 GHz.
4 GB RAM. Nvidia geforce 820m which can handle graphics really well.
Im playing all the lastest games like AC 4 Black flag, watchdogs, skyrim, etc on mid to high level settings.
the laptop also came with a years free subcription of mcafee internet security and a dell branded backpack. so its really cool.

Good Bright display with least glare.
comfortable keyboard.
touch-pad is good but requires some getting used to.
decent ( ~3.5 to 4 hrs) battery backup.
I'm running Ubuntu and its always stays cool, I'm yet to notice any lag in day to day tasks.
I'm not really into gaming but given that it has 2GB graphics with a entry level graphic processor, should run some good games in low graphic settings.
Far as looks go its certainly not going to win you any beauty contests but...

Best for this price
I won't tell you about the specs, because you can read about them on this page itself. Anyway, I researched a lot, and finally zeroed in on this one. No other laptop matches the configuration of this one in this price range.

This is perfect value for money.
The look is good. Is also fast as it is i5-processor and should be decent for Gaming as well.
