This laptop is super cool, I didn't feel any negative points as mentioned by others, battery life is around 4 hours and unlike others said regarding heating up and fan noise, both is not happening to me, I didn't switch off my lap for last 48 hours, its still so cool

I have installed windows 8 and everything is fine, you have to mess up in finding drivers Thats all!! but Dell even provides a page with all drivers, Just use your brain and install that

Flipkart delivered the product well before time. This laptop is worth the prize it is having.
performance is good, i5 is really fast, display is cool and even after 2-3 hours of continues work it is not that much heated. Battery backup is about 2.5 to 3 hours while doing normal work. It is less while watching movie or games etc.It's fan is little noisy.
Not flashy but It has very decent look. Material used for it, Built quality is very good, It is very robust too. Overall. it's a good buy.

This is my first laptop and using linux not my style so replaced it with win 7 and everything works good all drivers available at dell official site! product quality is great!feels premium!and gaming is flawless with this device...i highly recommend this laptop!

1. Its a nice laptop with good specifications/features considering the price.
2. Quick delivery, thanks to flipkart's great service. I ordered it on saturday night and it got delivered on tuesday morning.
3. Keyboard is quite small to type comfortably.
4. To give you a rough idea of how much load it can take, I run programs like eclipse, browser 10 tabs, terminals, textpad simultaneously and it performs fine till that. After that it begins to get slow.

My review posted here earlier was deleted twice. It was because Flipkart doesn't allow me to write about their service except in cases where it is good.
The laptop is a good choice if you do not care for looks but on performance. The specifications are very good. Also, you have full warranty from Dell for 1 year. This came in handy for me as I received a defective laptop whose motherboard did not function. Even though I couldn't get my order replaced, I got the laptop repaired from Dell.

I got this lappy around 45 days before and hence writing this review.

First of all lets talk about the Flipkart service..

I purchased this laptop whem Flipkart was offering an attractive 15% cashback in collaboration with Standard Chartered bank.It was initially conveyed that 15% cash back will be credited to the concerned account by 30th Nov 2013 but they extended the date to 5th Dec 2013 and this was well informed by them.

When the amount was not credited to my account till 5th Dec ,then...

This is a very good laptop for everyday work and little bit of programming.

But this is definitely not for linux users.
The ubuntu (12.04) that comes with the laptop freezes at least twice a day. And the keyboard does not have a SysRq key. I tried moving to Fedora. But in vain because of the dreaded BCM43142.
