This should be your first book on Unix!
This book is true to it's title, and completely unchallenged in what it offers! Maurice not only explains ALL of the important concepts in classic Unix, but does them at a depth that programmers will appreciate. The focus of the book is almost overwhelmigly on HOW features are implemented, their algorithms and data structures are clearly explained in "almost C" pseudocode. Must have for operating system developers
If you are working on or trying to understand an operating system structure, this book is a must have. Its not unnecessarily bulky like the other books and has the most accurate and right information required.

Awesome Book!
This is THE BOOK to study about the various commands used in the UNIX systems. Truly an in-depth treatment of the concepts. No wonder Linus Torvalds referred to this book extensively while working on his Linux operating system. Truly a classic and a must for all UNIX enthuasiasts.
