Devil's Bane: Being Book Two In "the Host" Series

Come and gather around the fire and listen to legends of old and of heroes bold. Since the epic battle on the barren fields of Gotheniens blackened soil, times have grown darker and much harsher for the righteous few who still remain loyal to Almighty Manakee and his Messiah, Throng. Hope is now failing in the hearts of the Elves, but it is not all lost. The menacing Dark Lord and his vast army of Orcs, Goblins, Trolls, Dark Elves, and many other creatures who have been birthed in the bowels of underworlds find that they are much closer to bringing ruin to the main realms of Alingale than they had thought. Yet the Elves, who are led by Throng, will not give up their sacred land nor their predestined calling without a fight. Throng, the Elf-Wizard, who is also the wielder of the great sword Devils Bane, has stumbled across a hidden lair deep within the Greenleaf Forest. It is now up to Throng and his loyal companions to smote this pinnacle lair called Semtar, where evils foul stench permeates all living things. However, what the brotherhood discovers when they penetrate this hidden underworld will cause Throng to unsheathe the righteous fury of Devils Bane in an exciting and adventurous fashion.
