Painful Watch for 'normal' people
Tooooo slow. Completely Meaningless. Nothing worth remotely savoring over. Aamir Khan should have kept this as a personal home video instead of promoting this as art house cinema. I would recommend watching a spider weaving a web in some dusty dark corner in your home as a more entertaining option (if you're so depressed in life) over this incoherent waste of movie reel. Stay away! Or call this 'modern art' and try to pass yourself as more intelligent and art oriented than you ever will be!

Leaves u numb and in a good way :)
Am amazing movie.
Great characters great portrayals.
Just the fact that a story does not need to be "epic" or "loud" to make sense.
This movie is about how are lives determines/affects others and vice-versa.
So if you are in the mood for some longing, good performances and a nice after feeling then its a must watch.
But not for "masala" movie enthusiasts .
All performances are excellent.
Great direction to the movie.
Gustavo Santaolalla creates a great background score.
And that chilling moment of truth that Aamir's character faces is so captivating that you wonder what this man is capable of !

Delicate
Everyone know what to expect from Amir Khan...a perfection and his raw character in every movie, Dhobi Ghat is a very delicate and artistic movie, I have ever seen in Indian cinema.
DVD is the best to buy all the Bonus Features will drive to the plot of this movie..fantastic picture quality.

A great film
Dhobhi Ghat is one of those movies that you can watch more than once. It is a film to be taken slowly, to be enjoyed and savoured. There are layers of complexity within it that warrant multiple viewings. Two lives running simultaneously with one common link is an interesting look at multiple lives.
Definitely a must see.

Dhobighat:A cinematic portrait,its a must watch film and everyone should purchase the DVD as soon as possible.This DVD is a complete paisa vasool product.Aamir khan's excellence,Kiran Rao's class and othe actor's superb performances makes this film a cult classic.In addition to that the the excellent music of Gustavo Santallaloa is a treat.
