Diablo III: Reaper of Souls is an expansion pack for the online single-player/multiplayer action role-playing game Diablo III. The user plays as the Nephalem who has to embark on a quest through the Ruins of Westmarch and the Pandemonium Fortress in order to put an end to Malthael and his allies’ mission of destruction.

Many new features have been added to the gameplay of Diablo III with this expansion pack. Crusader, a new character class is featured in this expansion pack, apart from Barbarian, Demon Hunter, Monk, Witch Doctor and Wizard. Diablo III: Reaper of Souls also welcomes the fifth act in the game series. An Adventure Mode has been added to the campaign; players can scour freely through the expanse of the entire fantasy world and participate in random Bounties and Nephalem Rifts (dungeons) at their leisure. The Mystic, a new artisan, can improve the appearance and properties of the player’s equipment. With this expansion, the level cap has gone up from 60 to 70 with new runes, passive abilities and skills for all the characters. Furthermore, when a player hits level 70, he or she can add a fourth slot to their passive skills. The Mystic helps with Transmogrification and Item Enchanting; Item Enchanting allows you to re-roll one property on an item; the selected property can either be re-rolled to another property or a higher value. Transmogrification lets you change your characters appearance for a better look. An NPC named Kadala provides gambling services in Adventure Mode; Blood Shards can utilized to buy unidentified items (magic or rare) from her with a 1.5% possibility to roll a legendary.
