The Diary of Amos Lee: I'm Twelve, I'm Tough, I Tweet! (Paperback) Price: Rs.195

The Diary of Amos Lee: I'm Twelve, I'm Tough, I Tweet! is the third book in the Amos Lee series. Amos Lee is trying to get himself voted as the Tween Idol of the school.

Summary Of The Book

Amos Lee began keeping a diary because his mother insisted that he write regularly. He began to jot down his thoughts and experiences while in the toilet. It all began with The Diary of Amos Lee: I Sit, I Write, I Flush!.

Soon, his diary became a habit and he records all the events in his life. Now, in The Diary of Amos Lee: I'm Twelve, I'm Tough, I Tweet!, he is in the final year of Junior School. He has also decided to take part in the school’s new Tween Idol Contest.

The main problem is, Amos’ arch enemy Michael is also taking part in the contest. Amos decides to use the power of social media and opens a Twitter account. To his dismay, he finds that his rival has had the same idea. In fact Michael has a presence on all the social media platforms - Facebook, chats, YouTube - wherever Amos looks, Micheal is there.

Meanwhile Amos gets an attack of zits that spoils his looks, and has to think of ways to counter Michael's popularity. But his new journal, Poop Fiction, has helped Amos become known to more people in the school. Also he has another resource to use, his pesky sister. She now has a two girl band and has become very popular at school. Just being known as her big brother gets attention. So, has he at last found a way to make use of his irritating sister to his advantage?

In The Diary of Amos Lee: I'm Twelve, I'm Tough, I Tweet!, Amos prepares to leave Junior School behind in a blaze of glory, by winning a popularity contest. But, he has tough opposition in Michael, and things do not get better when his best friend Alvin decides to take part in the contest too.

COOLEST DIARY SENSATION

The Amos Lee series has been outstanding. In this final diary, Amos participates in the tween idol contest. A lot happens in this diary. One new character is Everest, Amos's brother. He was also mentioned in the previous book, but not like this. Amos gets into twitter and youtube, while his mom sets up a blog. Amos finally had almost 3000 twitter followers. Bif, the bully teams up with michael. Amos has a tough time when he has to participate in a race with only five days practice. he looses, but he eventually wins.
