Book Reviews of Diary of a Wimpy Kid (Box Set)

The books were just unputdownable, and my kid has been reading and re-reading it without a breather. Written in an unusual diary pattern with illustrations all over the place, it is something of a mix between a novel and a comic. But after reading it my son told me, "daddy, today i realise why you said that 'books are a man's best friend'"

The only think missing in this set was the sixth book of the series, which I had to order seperately.

I ordered these books for My daughter and she is enjoying reading Wimpy Kids. She has already finished 2 of them.

Seeing her enthusiasm I have also started reading and as usual Flipkart rocks for their timely delivery

It's a fun book and it's a very easy read.

Just one complaint though- for a bookset ,just a single bookmark. Not fair!One of the primary reasons that I buy books from flipkart are the bookmarks on offer!

i just got this box set and in just a week i already read out first two of them.....and trust me these books are hilarious.......greg haffley is the second most favourite character of mine after harry potter......

i mean i dont get bored any time i read it..and this kind of read i get only from harry potter books. so anyone who wants fun unlimited and read the high self-tell of greg haffly....he should defenatly buy this box set.....and i am little sad that this box set includes only first five box,,,when there are total 9 books out there about wimpy kid series.....but i m happy!!

The Diary Of A Wimpy Kid is really an amazing book!

~Best age group to read is 9-13 years.
~I can bet on that if you start reading it, you will forget everything going on around you!

I always wanted a collection of this series!now have one!discount was good and the books were in perfect condition.and the greatest thing is it was delivered within 24 hours! a must buy if you are a wimpy kid fan! thank you flipkart!

The books and the package were awesome but I recommend 5 bookmarks instead of 1 and try to include Cabin Fever and The Do-It-Yourself book with the box set so people won't have much to order and less wastage for packaging! Can't await for the 7th Book(The Third Wheel) to come..!!!

Yeah the small cute gags brings a smile at every ace.
must read for kids under 10 but it doesnt mean you cant read it you are above 10.
do give it a shot.Its a great stuff

The book entertains. Some situations will be reminiscent of your own childhood. It's a fun book and it's a very easy read.

If you are planning of relaxed evening with a no-brainer book. This book is just perfect. & you won't be disappointed.

In fact, you'll feel for the poor wimpy kid. :)

Buy it, if you are ok with spending a few hundred bucks for a nice relaxed evening. :)

This set of books, reminds me of my childhood, and the pranks and thoughts that ran through my mind.... Jeff Kinney has done a great job on putting a child's thoughts on paper and that too with such creativity... Kudos!
