Work on Fascicule V (I-J-K-L) is progressing. It will contain new preliminaries, a revised bibliography, and instructions for binding the first half of the work.

This comprehensive dictionary is an indispensable guide to the study of the Latin Middle Ages. The fourth of ten fascicules, the volume presents hundreds of new formations from other languages, including borrowed words recorded in Latin centuries before their appearance in written vernacular sources. Drawing on a rich variety of printed and manuscript sources, the dictionary records the usage of Classical and Late Latin current in the period between the sixth and sixteenth centuries, presenting most fully the medieval developments of the language.
