About Author :
Dr. J.P. Singh is the Member Secretary (Executive Head) of the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), a Statutory Body set up by the Government of India in 1992 through an Act passed by the Parliament. The main functions of RCI are to regulate and standardie curricula and training of professionals in the field of rehabilitation of the persons with disabilities.
Dr. Major K. Dash is currently working as a Director with the SOS Children's Villages of India. Prior to that he worked as a Consultant to the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) and as a Project Evaluator of the Council for Advancement of People's Action and Rural Technology (CAPART). Dr. Dash joined the RCI as a Research Fellow in 1999 and worked for two years.
