"Discrete Structures" has been written according to the latest syllabus of Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar. Satinder Bal Gupta has done his B.Tech. (Computer Science & Engg.) from Sant Longowal Institute of Engg. & Technology, Longowal and postgraduation from Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak. He cleared UGC-NET and published many research papers in National and International Conferences and Journals. He has already written two books. He is presently engaged in teaching as a senior Lecturer in Computer Science Deptt. at Vaish College of Engineering, Rohtak.

C. P. Gandhi is a renowned personality in the field of mathematics. After completing his M.Sc. (Mathematics) from M.D.U., Rohtak, he qualified U.G.C.-C.S.I.R., National Eligibility Test (NET), conducted by University Grants Commission, New Delhi. He has served as lecturer in Mathematics at D.A.V. Institute of Engineering and Technology, Jalandhar. Currently, he is pursuing his Ph.D. under the kind guidance of Dr. Om Prakash, Deptt. of Mathematics, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. Presently, he is working as a senior lecturer in the Department of Mathematics, Rayat and Bahra Institute of Engineering and Biotechnology, Kharar, Chandigarh.UDS-9294
