About Kuldip Salil
Kuldip Salil is an Indian author and poet. He is best-known for translating several ghazals from Urdu to Hindi. He provides useful insights into the nuances and other intricacies of the ghazals. Salil worked as an English professor at Hansraj College, Delhi, and has also been awarded the Sahitya Akademi Award. Some of the books he has written are Best of Faraz and Best of Faiz.

Amazing content. Awful translation.The content, since it's what Ghalib wrote, is simply amazing. But the awful z-turned-j translation is just unacceptable. It becomes hard to read or understand some words. Which spoils the fun. Had to correct the whole book first.

Only for those who can not understand Hindi - Nothing newIf you can understand Hindi then it is of no use. It is only for those who can not read/understand devnagrii script. You won't find any thing new even in it's translation, better get Deewane Ghalib in its original form with hindi meaning of tough urdu words.
