When Debu finds a lost wallet, he has no clue that it will make his dreams of being a minor detective come true.

    Summary of the Book

Debu is in desperate need of anything to bring some excitement to his boring life. While he is thinking about ways to make his life more interesting, he finds a lost wallet. He does what any good man would do and returns the wallet to its owner. However, when he is doing so, the owner of the wallet disappears right in front of his eyes like a ghost. He goes home confused and wondering what might have happened to the man. A couple of days later, he learns a little more about the owner of the wallet. A newspaper article describes him to be a fugitive from the law. Soon, a lot of other curious facts are learnt and Debu cannot help but take matters into his own hands. After all, it has been his dream to be a detective like figure for a crime. While he is trying to solve the mystery, he realizes he has to overcome two obstacles: a psychopath with a devious scheme and an intellectual who intends to resolve this crime before anyone else does.
