Best in the market!

Book: This book gives a deep analysis of India's foreign policy, as viewed by a foreigner. India's relations with countries like it's neighbours, USA, PRC, Middle East etc. have been explained in an interesting way.

Paper Quality: TOO GOOD. Period.

For: It is highly recommended if you have a keen interest in International Relations. If you're preparing for any government exam (like UPSC CSE) and have PSIR optional, this is a must read. Only you need to update with recent happenings (follo...

Written in 2011 it predicted many events based on geopolitical understanding with precise accuracy such as rise of ISIS. This factor keep you engaged and it is not felt that you are reading some outdated analysis.
I have read it with Modi's World of Rajamohan which is a collection of his article of PM Modi foreign policy in first year. Reading both in parallel compl...

Sharp and Genuine

Though flipkart has discontinued it's Indian edition (as it is not available here for past 4 months or may be more), I procured one from a Connaught Place book store. The writer has trenchantly commented on India's external affairs policy. This book remains one where a diplomat has taken care of his words, but the analysis and writing remains no where ostensible.
It has apparently neglected a few countries which for writer has given due justification.
The book remains well organized and Ind...
