Remember how Don pulled the rug from under everyone’s feet by feigning his own death and pretending as a simpleton impostering as the Don in the 2006 movie Don: The Chase Begins Again. The story now moves forward. Having fled from right under the nose of the cops, Don has now set his eyes on greener pastures.

Directed by Farhan Akhtar, Don 2 also stars Priyanka Chopra, Lara Dutta, Boman Irani, Kunal Kapoor, Om Puri, Sahil Shroff and Aly Khan.

The film begins in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia and from there the action shifts to Germany. Incidentally, Don 2 is the first film to be shot in Germany.

If Don had Farhan Akhtar sprucing up the story by Salim-Javed, Don 2 is written by Ameet Mehta, Amrish Shah and Farhan Akhtar.

Priyanka Chopra as Roma

She is Don’s Junglee Billi. She has a score to settle with Don. She wants to avenge the death of her brother and his fiancée. For this she would go to great lengths.

Lara Dutta as Ayesha

Don apparently has a new moll in this film. Her name is Ayesha.

Kunal Kapoor as Sameer Ali

Kunal Kapoor apparently plays an admirer of Don. He meets him in Berlin.

Boman Irani as Vardhaan

Vardhaan is a notorious underground criminal who pretended as a copper but when his cover was blown he was trapped by Don and arrested by cops. Now, he wants to exact revenge from Don.

Saahil Shroff as Arjun

Newcomer Saahil Shroff plays a cop who is on Don’s trail. To catch Don he enlists Roma’s help.

Synopsis

Having conquered the Asian underworld, Don (Shahrukh Khan) has now set his sight on European domination. In his way are the bosses of the existing European underworld and all law enforcement agencies.

The action shifts from Kuala Lumpur to Berlin, as Don must avoid assassination or arrest, whichever comes first in order for his plan to succeed.

its nothing like old bollywood action, here the lead character struggles in fight, the action are life like(not like Bodyguard where one jumps from train to another train like monkey) and car chases are better than any bollywood movie. The Movie Entertains You from the first scene till the last and its completely a one man show " SRK " he takes the movie on his shoulders , he cunning , he is mean and the King is Back!

But catching Don is not only difficult, its impossible!

I received the DVD yesterday & watched it today,Good print & also the making was nice.Made on a budget of 70 crore (US$13.97 million), Don 2 went on to break multiple box-office records in India and overseas, including highest opening day grosser ever on a non-holiday Friday and the highest grossing Bollywood film overseas in 2011. A week after its theatrical run, Box Office India declared the film a "hit" in India, and in the second week, a "blockbuster" overseas. Don 2 became the fourth highest-grossing Bollywood film of 2011 in India, and earned a worldwide gross revenue of 210 crore (US$41.9 million)

I am the KING!!!!!!!

SRK after a long time came to a genre which we loved him earlier in Darr, Bazigar, Anjaam,etc. He has lived and scored this character full marks. I wont compare this character with Amitabh's character. Coz its totally different based. Farhan has done awesome job with his director's cap. Rest of the supporting cast like Priyanka, Om puri, Kunal Kapoor, Boman, Lara are good.SRK overshadows all.

The king surely returns. This DVD has extra features which are bonus treat. Go for this one. DON 2 !!!!!!!!!!

I remember I went to see the movie on the first of the release itself. I was sure that this movie going to be awesome. The best part was SRK's entry on the boat. It gave me goosebumps. I am big fan of his :). The action was superb. I thought I should buy the DVD of this instead of downloading it. Not a waste of your money at all. SRK's acting is great (well it always is) ;). This is the first movie that I have seen most number of times(3)in a theatre. :)
